It’s that time of year again! At every start of the spring season, our team heads to Highpoint Market North Carolina for the furniture industry’s largest and most comprehensive showing. This year, our team was busy working on some of the most incredible projects, so I flew solo. This was my tenth (or eleventh, lost count) time at market – and I am still surprised by how inspiring the trip is!
Make no mistake, this trip is not for the weak.
I spent my weekend working 12 hour days to sift through thousands of vendors to
find the gems. While there, I was able to connect with our reps and learn more
about new product launches, as well as see some favorite furniture pieces from
previous collections. It’s incredibly helpful to be able to see, feel and
interact with the pieces we plan on specifying for our design projects. We
stand by the items we’re bringing into our clients’ homes, so we want to ensure
they will endure the test of time.
We visit market to take on the legwork of
“finding the right stuff” so you don’t have to! There’s both good and bad there
