Our Forever Home – Butler’s Pantry

Welcome back for part two of our reveal. We worked our tails off to hit the finish line of this renovation and are SO EXCITED to reveal our butler’s pantry in full to you today (and be passed all of the construction chaos)!!

The butler’s pantry has been a long time coming. While Alex was hunting for a home with a stone exterior (check), I was desperately searching for one that featured a butler’s pantry (check). This small space in between the kitchen and dining room is the perfect connector. In keeping with that idea of the three “meal spaces” working as one, we wanted the butler’s pantry to have elements of both spaces present. The countertops here are the same style (Georgian Bluffs by Caesarstone) as what is in the kitchen, so you know they’re incredibly durable (in addition to them being insanely attractive). In here, you will also see the same wallpaper that’s present in our dining room – another connecting element.

Now we have the perfect drink station and prep space for all of the hosting we (have yet to) do. 😉 Another detail I would be remiss if I didn’t draw your attention to is the edge of the countertop. Look how flawless that ogee edge is! I wasn’t kidding in the last post when I said Classic Rock hit it out of the park. You can see it the attention to detail and fine craftsmanship in the photo below as well.

As promised in the first reveal post, we have some additional amazing Kohler products here too. The Northland Undermount Bar Sink and Artifacts Gentleman’s Bar Sink Faucet are both courtesy of Kohler. The faucet is from the same collection that the kitchen items are – we just switched up the finish. In keeping with the brass finish, we made sure that the hardware was a part of the same story.

Alex and I are equally obsessed with how this butler’s pantry POPS!! In person, the colors just jump out at you, much like how they do on the screen. The teal paint color we chose is incredibly vibrant, but also meets the moody criteria Alex had for the space. We’ve gifted ourselves a room that is both FUN and functional, right in time for the holidays.

Alex was pretty pumped to make an appearance in his new butler’s pantry – so pumped he forgot to shave. 😉

So there you have it folks – that’s our reveal. It’s pretty crazy to think how much of our hard work (and cash) from May to October went into these two spaces. We’re pretty excited to be on the other side of it, especially with hibernating season upon us! We’re going to continue the conversation over on Instagram, so make sure to follow along as we dive into these spaces a little bit more, sharing even more insight into our design and renovation process. Thanks for following along as we continue to fix up our forever home.

Cheers, Michelle
