I could probably just do a mic-drop after sharing this image of this teal bookcase. If I’m being honest, it might be one of my favorite furniture pieces of all time – closely followed by the custom live edge bed in this home’s master bedroom (below).
This home was designed for the most amazing couple. They were a true JOY to work with – and had the most amazing taste!!
Allow me to take you on a tour and tell you about the home…
These brass butterfly joints are what dreams are made of…
After searching through stacks and stacks of vintage rugs, we landed on this one. It’s honestly incredibly perfect and ties beautifully in to the custom artwork hanging above the sofa. The painting was a collaboration and is based off of an image of our client’s dock in St. Michael’s.
Always a fan of powder room wallpaper that POPS!! This space is no exception. The lantern fish add a touch of quirk to this tight space. We continued the wallpaper onto the ceiling to give you a feeling of being underwater.
When speaking of my favorite furniture pieces in this home, I must have blanked on this burl wood credenza because IT’S UP THERE. Top 3 for sure!! This entire vignette is an absolute favorite of mine – and more importantly of our clients.
This combination of wood, brass, bone and leather sends my heart a-flutter. Can you imagine a more perfect sleep space? All of the furniture in this room is completely custom.
This corner is a another favorite of our client. One of the pieces she HAD to have in her home was a fluffy white chair and we delivered with one that is truly one-of-a-kind. This corner of her master bedroom was the perfect place for it, as it balances out the harder materials on the other side of the room. The golden end table is incredibly unique in it’s shape, making it the jewelry of this view.
This wallpaper is a bit moodier than the ones we typically use – but we love it all the same. To see more of this space (and trust me, there’s more) head on over to the showcase in our portfolio. Once there, you’ll see some additional rooms that we couldn’t quite fit in this feature. Hope you enjoy touring through this Philadelphia home. xx
