Reveal: Blue Me Away in Bryn Mawr

This lovely couple engaged us in early 2020 to create an inviting dining room with library-esque feelings for their home. An unstuffy, colorful space with practical surfaces for hosting and family heirloom display were must-haves.

Blending vintage and contemporary aesthetics, our favorite brass buffet styled with sculptural lighting and a gallery wall of abstract art in gilded frames creates a fresh eclectic vignette.

Variations of blue, accent pops of pink and hints of green bring a balanced colorfulness to the space. We love the amazing slithering snake wallpaper! It brings movement and form to the walls that we mirrored in the lighting elements.

Our client was so trusting of our shared vision – leading to this fantastic room for entertaining!

We also had so much fun designing the guest powder room in this home – another animal inspired sanctuary!

Blue bird wallpaper with brass accents and a funky mirror turned a highly functional space into a moment of fun, wonder and whimsy!

Attention to detail and high-quality craft are essential with any design project.

This home had great bones, but was a bit of a blank canvas in terms of color, pattern and design. This gave us fantastic place to start and live out our wildest design dreams. This family was such a pleasure to work with and will enjoy these spaces for years to come.

If you’re looking to beautify your space in preparation for hosting again, we’d love to hear from you!
